The Adoption Process
Finding your pup is a serious decision, and it is our honor that you are considering adding one of our Goldendoodle puppies to your home.
We hope to make the process as stress-free as possible. Please read through our adoption process carefully. If we are right for you, send us your application!

Step 1:
Fill Out Our
Puppy Interest Form
We are excited to get to know you! We welcome you to read the information on our website and follow us on Instagram @desert.bloom.doodles.
If you feel like we are right for you, then please fill out the interest form below. There is no obligation or cost associated with the interest form.
Once a litter is born, we will contact families in the order that we received the interest forms. At that time, families will be given approximately 48 hours to decide whether they would like to proceed with the adoption process.

Step 2:
Submit Your Reservation Form & Deposit
Once you feel confident about moving forward, we will begin the reservation process. We will email you our Reservation & Deposit Form. The $300 deposit will be due at the time of the reservation. The remaining balance of $2500 will be due on Adoption Day.
Once your form and deposit is received, a puppy will be secured for you. Puppy selection will begin on week 6 of the puppies' lives. We will stay in regular communication with you and share up-to-date videos of the pups as they grow and meet their early milestones.
** In the case of an emergency, it is possible for deposits to be transferred to an upcoming litter.

Step 3:
Choose Your
Fur Baby!
At 6 weeks, our puppy parents will get to choose their puppy.
We will schedule a visitation day or virtual meeting so that you can choose from the puppies available. Families will choose their puppy in the order that they placed their deposit.
Throughout our time with the pups, we carefully study the personality of each puppy and their play patterns. It is our goal to guide you in choosing the perfect puppy based on your home life and needs.
Please make sure to follow us on our Instagram page. This is where we will post regular content of the puppies.
** In the rare situation that you are unable to match with a puppy that is right for your family, it is possible for your deposit to be transferred to an upcoming litter. It is our goal to make sure you are matched with the perfect puppy!

Step 4:
Take Your Puppy Home!
Puppies go home between 9-12 weeks (based on vet's recommendation). On Adoption Day, we will review and sign the health guarantee/contract, provide veterinarian records, and answer any questions that will help make the transition for your puppy as easy as possible.
Since puppies are still in their critical socialization period, we will also provide you with helpful socialization tips and enrichment activities so that the puppy can continue developing at home with you!
We will also provide a puppy go-home bag that includes puppy food, treats, toys, grooming supplies, and a few other goodies!
After the puppy goes home, we vow to keep the lines of communication open. It is our utmost priority to make sure that the puppy is transitioning well. We also love to receive updates of the puppies' lives, so please don't hesitate to tag us on Instagram!
If you are interested in adopting a puppy from us, please fill out our interest form. We will contact you as soon as our next litter is born so that you can proceed with the reservation process. We contact families in the order that we receive interest.
After submitting your form, please be on the look out for an email from us. Sometimes, our email correspondence can get lost in JUNK or SPAM folders.
