We are the Vega Family. We are excited that you have found our site. Finding the newest member of your family is serious business, and we are honored that you have considered us to be part of your journey. It is our mission to be transparent, reliable, honest, and courteous. Let us begin by introducing ourselves!
Our Story
We must begin by admitting that we never envisioned that we would become dog breeders. Although we were always raised with a family pet, our careers and other pursuits often took priority. But as things often go, life changed us. We experienced a terrible loss in our family in 2021. The pain felt unbearable, and we feared getting lost in the grief.
Then Nala, our first Goldendoodle, came into our lives and we quickly adopted her into our family. She was the therapy we needed. We cuddled her amidst our tears, and in return, she gave us her unfiltered love. Since then, we have adopted three more Goldendoodles - Kylo, Axl, and Indy. Our home is overfilled with their love and warmth, and despite the pain from our loss, we feel blessed.
Life then took on a new sense of purpose. The joy and peace we experienced from our doodles was overwhelming, and we just couldn't keep this secret to ourselves. We often found ourselves talking about our doodles with anyone and everyone. The more others shared their own life stories with us - often filled with pain and heartache, too - the more we wanted to do something to help relieve the pain.
When we took the step into breeding, we knew we wanted to do it right. The physical, mental, and emotional health of our dogs and their pups are our top priority. For this reason, we keep our breeding program small, and everything we do is directly in our home. We have conducted tons of research, purchased multiple curriculums, and created a program that we feel will give puppies the best start possible!
We have learned that the first 12 weeks of a puppy's life are absolutely vital. So we vow to not waste a single second. We offer daily socialization and enrichment exercises so that the puppies can thrive neurologically, mentally, emotionally, and physically. We give each puppy one-on-one attention and love them immensely.
Because we spend so much individual time with our puppies, we come to learn their individual temperaments very, very well. Although all of our puppies are amazing, they each have their own unique personality - just like children. So our primary focus is matching puppies with the right puppy. We wouldn't want to see a high-energy puppy go home with a family with a more relaxed lifestyle - neither will get what they want out of life. Getting to know our puppies and our families has consistently resulted in perfect matches. We are so grateful to know that our puppies and our families are HAPPY!
