Vacuum Desensitization

Another major aspect of our socialization program is desensitizing pups to all the normal household sounds they will experience when they go home.

There are some sounds that naturally cause fear and anxiety - the blender, the clanging of pots and pans, dishes accidently falling, or even the vacuum cleaner.

We want our pups to know that these sounds are all typical sounds of the world around them, and there is no need to react fearfully, cowardly or aggressively.

At the end of our socialization period, our pups learn that the world is generally a safe place despite the various stressful stimuli that exist around us.
