Conquering Little Fears

Today's socialization experience is all about exposure to unexpected stimuli.

The opening and closing of an umbrella is such a simple experience in our human world. But, the simplest of things can cause fear and anxiety in our fur babies. In older dogs, fear often leads to the development of aggression or other negative behaviors.

In these early weeks, we can socialize puppies to experience small moments of stress and anxiety and wire them to learn that there is no need to react if they are safe.

This will better enable them to be family companions, especially if little ones are around.
